I had a fantastic trip to the Lisbon area, after connecting with my partner Ricardo, we hit the road trying horse after horse. I sat on horses from 3 year old’s with barely a few weeks under saddle, to some really special Grand Prix horses. We finalized a few sales, Nobel das Figueiras was the most notable. One of the best and easiest Grand Prix horses I have ever ridden was purchased by Judy Sloan. Nobel is now in the US, and Judy and Nobel are already a solid partnership. We found a fantastic 5 yo stallion for a special client, more to come about this special horse!
Of course, my clients purchased Solar. A stunning coming 4 year old gelding by Lord Plus. Lord Plus was bred by the most famous breeder of Zonik Plus. Solar will be available in the New Year. I feel so fortunate to be able to try such exceptional horses, to travel around with my partner who is so knowledgeable about the Lusitano breed, and so passionate about them also.
Watch this space as we have more very exciting news to share. If you are looking, we are finding the most talented horses and pairing them with their perfect partners. Don’t hesitate to reach out. I am thinking about my next trip to Portugal, and will have details over the next few weeks or so.
